TEAM NEWS AND RUN OF PLAY

Birmingham have only one win in seven now as they continue their downward spiral. The team only seem to perform against the top sides which must be infuriating for Lee Clark. They dominated a powerful Middlesbrough side to pick up their solitary win and gave a battling performance against high flying Palace last time out. They have a terrible habit of playing well then next time out going through the motions. Marlon King seems to be the key to the team and was on fire against Boro. Birmingham are so hit and miss its unbelieveable at the moment, world beaters one week and also rans the next. Really difficult side to pin down.

Burnley are going through a difficult patch at the moment and are on a run of drawn matches. This division can bring the best sides down and Burnley seem to lack the killer instinct at the moment. Last game was actually a worthwile point, a draw against a rampant Watford side is a decent result. Burnley put in a great shift too and dominated a Watford side which has pulled up trees this season. Charlie Austin found the net for the first time in several games and that is key for him and the side. He has admitted to having his head turned by the prospect of top level Championship or even Premier league transfer, something that was always bound to happen. Michael Duff and Chris McCann are available again after serving suspensions.
