BIRMINGHAM v WIGAN 1x2 BETTING TIPS AND PREDICTIONS

Massive game at both ends of the table here. Birmingham are fighting for their lives and could be making the dreaded drop to League one. They are 3^rd bottom with 43 points but are just 1 point from safety with this game in hand.  Home form is terrible for the Midlands side with 2 wins. 8 draws and 12 defeats, by far the worst record in the division.  Recent form shows 1 wins and 5 defeats from last 6 with the last four all lost.  Paul Robinson is banned while Tom Thorpe’s loan spell has ended. They have since brought Hayden Mullins back from his loan spell with Notts County for cover. Wigan are in the last available playoff spot in 7^th with 70 points.  A bad run of form at the worst possible time has let other teams in. They now fight with Brighton and Reading for the two remaining playoff spots. Away form for Wigan shows 8 wins, 3 draws and 10 losses. Recent form is poor with 1 win, 1 draw and 4 losses. Striker Martyn Waghorn returns from injury.

Two sides in poor form but both desperate for the points. This will be a  real cuptie feel to it and I expect a massive crowd to try and rally the home side. Birmingham have been terrible at St Andrews and seem to feel the pressure more at home. The team is poor and Lee Clarke has had a struggle to get his team going. I feel Wigan will have too much quality here for Birmingham and this could be the last home game in a while in Championship for Birmingham.
