TEAM NEWS AND RUN OF PLAY

Birmingham are dropping down to the lower reaches of the league and are playing very ordinary football. A lacklustre side with no on pitch leadership Birmingham have been a major dissappointment this season. Lee Clark has been unable to fire the Midlands giants up at all but he has been hampered by a major injury crisis. The current first team are mediocre at best and lower midtable is about their level. Middlesbrough bounced back to winning ways with an easy 3-0 over a injury hit Huddersfield. Boro were very impressive and totally dominated the game. After a run of two defeats Tony Mowbray will be a happy manager. In truth this Huddersfield tie was a formality as the visitors gave an awful performance, but Boro took their chances and a 3 goal victory was well deserved.
