BIRMINGHAM – WATFORD: PREDICTIONS                           

Two of the old Premiership boys go head to head at St Andrews, both teams seem to be going in different directions though. Its Birmingham vs Watford in England Championship.

Birmingham fans have been through the mill over the last few years and the takeover by Hong Kong “money man” Carson Yeung has been a disaster. The side is struggling big time, out go big players such as Redmond, Fahey, King, Ferguson, Morrison, Caldwell and Butland. They have not been replaced either with coach Lee Clarke stating hes delving into the youth setup. It’s a big ask for untried youngsters to step up to the Championship. Brum fans have outlined survival as the task for this season and that seems about right.

Watford were beaten play off finalists last year and can feel hard done by for sure. The ragtag band of Granada and Udinese players at times were uplayable. This year sees a few new faces at Vicarage Road but also sees the end of Matej Vydra; the Czech hitman kept on at Udinese after his excellent season. In the2nd half of the season though it was Troy Deeney who was the man upfront. Incoming players include Javier Acuna and Deigo Fabbrini could be the stars of the year.

BIRMINGHAM – WATFORD: BETTING TIPS.

One early tactic for me will be getting against Birmingham in all their matches. This side is a shadow of the one of last year (which was poor too!) Huge losses of the better squad players and little quality coming in. Watford on the other hand will be winning most of their games this year and 2.50 looks a very big price.
