Blackburn host Brentford in what is one of my bets of the day in England Championship. Blackburn are in 16th place with 3 wins, 7 draws and 5 losses. Home form for them sees 2 wins, 3 draws and 2 losses. Recent form looks like 2 wins, 2 draws and 2 defeats. Corey Evans and Fode Koita are new additions to the squad but Danny Guthrie and Chris Brown are out. Brentford were on a great run of form until a 2-0 loss to league high flyers Hull brought them down to earth. Its still 4 wins from 5 though and they have a decent manager in newcomer Lee Carsley. Brentford are in 12th with 20 points. Home form reads 3 wins, 1 draw and 4 losses. Brentford are without Alan Judge, Josh McEachran, Jota and Andreas Bjelland. Sam Saunders is available for 1st game in many months.
Blackburn are not scoring many but they don’t concede either. Brentford are in great form and although losing to Hull last time out most teams in this division will. I think with a +0.5 handicap this is a cracker and make it bet of the day.
