Blackburn got through January with just one loss in seven matches but new coach Michael Appleton continues his draw obsession with two games from the last three. At Blackpool he oversaw a run without a defeat but many games were drawn. He has cleared the decks over the last few days with Colin Kazim-Richards, Armine Lingazi, Simon Vukcevic, Ruben Rochina and Diogo Rosado all gone. Blackburn are losing ground in the promotion chase with 10 points between them and sixth position. Indeed they are only 9 points above the drop zone such is the close nature of the Championship; With 9 wins, 10 draws and 9 losses the Lancashire club have had a very poor season. 

Bristol City have had back to back wins for the 1st time since August. Worthy victories over Ipswich and impressively against inform Watford has given The Robins a massive boost. They moved off the bottom of the table and now have 8 wins, 4 draws and 17 losses. New coach Sean O'Driscoll has come and and revitalised the squad.  Captain Cole Skuse is a major doubt for the side and faces a late fitness test. Fellow midfielder Neil Kilkenny is definately out.

They should have no problem here with Bristol City. The Robins are missing their two best players too which is a bonus for us.
