Blackburn host Cardiff in England Championship opener. Blackburn have released 14 players, a massive amount but they did have a bloated squad. Only three players actually made an impression. Leon Best, DJ Campbell and Scott Dann. Of the others none will be missed. Income a few with Luke Varney and Micheal Keane of note. Cardiff have also lost a host of players but have drafted a fair few in. Out has gone Jordan Mutch, Steven Caulker, Craig Bellamy and Frazier Campell with several other fringe players. Of note coming in are Juan Cala, Kagisho Dikgakoi, Adam La Fondre and Javi Guerre.
This is a close game between two attacking football teams. I am not sure of Blackburns defence this year either as they don’t seem to have strengthened at all in that area. Cardiff will be fancied to grab at least a playoff and I do fancy them in this game. The both score yes looks great odds at 1.80 (4/5)
