BOLTON - BURNLEY:  PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW: BETTING STATS AND FACTS

Bolton continue to plummet down the table after another defeat. With a record of 1 win in 7 matches (4 losses in that time) The Trotters are perilously close to the relegation places. They sit in 20th position but they are only 3 points above 3rd bottom. With an overall record of 8 wins, 10 draws and 11 losses they are in serious danger, Dougie Freedman has found the same problems that plagued Bolton under Owen Coyle. Medo Kamara is likely to make his debut here after international clearance. The Sierra Leone midfielder could give some extra bite in the centre. Keith Andrews sits out again, still not recovered fully.

Burnley have improved steadily over the last few months and they have slowly risen up the table. With four wins from the last six (all with clean sheets) things are looking up for The Clarets. Their new found defensive resolution has cost them going forward but this evolution has reaped the benefits points wise. Sitting in 7th now on 40 points Burnley find themselves just the 4 points behind the promotion slots.  With 12 wins, 7 draws and 11 losses they could still sneak into the playoffs. Ben Mee and Michael Duff have not recuperated in time and apart from those two Burnley will be at full strength.

Big Lancashire derby here and one likely to be played at a frenetic pace. Burnley have the recent form line here though and are playing several levels higher than the home side. Bolton are still playing poorly, with little conviction and tend to go through the motions. I can see a very low scoring away win as Burnley continue to stifle the opposition.
