I have been most impressed with Hull City of all the teams in the Championship and particularly their deep squad. They have quality in all areas and could almost field two competitive sides at present. Steve Bruce is rotating game to game and is benefitting in this tough division. Brentford have picked up since the arrival of Lee Carsley as coach though, they also have reduced their horrendous injury list which hamstrung the last manager. Brentford are in 11^th with 20 points so far. Home form for them sees 3 wins,1 draw and 3 losses. Recent form gives 4 wins and 2 defeats but the last 4 all won.  Still out are Josh McEachran, Jota ,Andreas Bjelland, Sam Saunders and Lewis Macleod. While influential midfielder Alan Judge will likely miss the game too. Hull are in 2^nd position with 28 points so far and are unbeaten in 10 games. They made the quarter finals of Capital One Cup too, defeating Premiership Leicester last week. Away form for Hull sees 3 wins, 2 draws and 2 losses. Out for them here will be Curtis Davies, Robert Snodgrass and Adama Diomande.

 

Two sides in top form but I have to side with Hull here. I think Brentford will move up the table for sure and see them around the fringes of the Playoffs. Hull however should be aiming for automatic promotion and with their striker power will just shade this one.
