BRIGHTON – DERBY: PREDICTIONS

Brighton against Derby in a huge match for both sides, Derby were awful travellers last year and will hope to improve this season.

Brighton begun the season with a loss to a resurgent Leeds, an away day visit to a booming Elland Road was a tough assignment for Brighton and they did give it a go. No coach Oscar Garcia needs a few games for sure to get used to the hustle and bustle of England Championship. Midweek Capital Cup against League new boys Newport was expected to be an easy game. The League 2 side battled hard for 120 minutes and ended up winning 3-1 after extra time.

Derby looked good for about 75 minutes of their opening game at home to Blackburn. Looking solid in all areas and dangerous on the break they were very dominant. However all seemed to fall apart in the last 15 minutes as they gave away possession and started to panic somewhat. Blackburn sensed the nervousness and capitalised with a late equaliser. Midweek saw Derby seal a straightforward 1-0 away win at Oldham to grab a place in 2^nd round of League cup.

BRIGHTON – DERBY: BETTING TIPS

Derby were simply dreadful on the road last season and I think they will be hard pressed to get out of the run this season. Some teams seem stuck in these cycles and Derby look likely to continue for me. I think Brighton are likely to be top 6 for sure, Oscar Garcia will get his team going and to find 1.95 Brighton (coral) is a dream price.
