One of the most heated and hated derbies in England is to be found in England Championship today. Blackburn travel to Burnley in the “cotton mills derby” but make no mistake there will be plenty of action here. The noise will be deafening at Turf Moor as these two will kick lumps out of each other for 90 minutes. Blackburn is off the back of a win in midweek to Middlesbrough so do have the ability to deny the top sides. They are currently in 16^th with 40 points; they are both safe from relegation but are nowhere near the playoffs so planning for next year is underway already. Away form for them reads 3 wins, 6 draws and 7 losses. Recent league form reads 3 wins,2  draws and 1 loss.  Corey Evans is the only new doubt for the visitors. Burnley are top of the league at present with 65 points from 34 games. Home form is good  with 12 wins, 3 draws and 2 losses. Recent league form reads an unbeaten run of 11 games. With 8 wins and 3 draws they have surged to the top.  Micheal Keane is added to the squad.

Although Burnley are in superb form I think the form book tends to go right out the window in this fixture. Expect drama, yellow cards, bad tackles and 90 minutes of desperate derby action. The draw is the bet for me, at 5-2 or 3.50 it’s a big return, in such games like this not losing is more important.
