BURNLEY - CARDIFF PREDICTIONS

Burnley host Champions elect Cardiff in a England Championship matchup.

Burnley have dropped back into the relegation mess after a poor run of results.  With just one win in eight games they are now only four points above the drop zone. Burnley have a current record of 14 wins, 12 draws and 17 losses.  They have the best goal difference of all the teams in the bottom eight so thats worth an extra point to them.  Top scorer Charlie Austin will miss the next three matches due to an operation and that's a massive blow. Ben Mee is missing too as is Michael Duff. Alex Kacaniklic has had his loan spell annulled as Fulham have recalled him back to London.

Cardiff continued with the unbeaten run at the top of the table. A draw away at home to Charlton is not the best result result really but Cardiff have not really hit top gear over the last few weeks. They still sit atop the England Championship though with a record of 25 wins, 9 draws and 9 defeats, the most wins and the least defeats. Cardiff need only 2 more  points to securing the England Championship trophy. Cardiff can happily rotate for this game as they have one of the biggest squads in the league and also one of the best in terms of back up quality.
