Neither side at the Cardiff City Stadium will feel they have covered themselves in much glory in their opening 2 games. Cardiff at least have a point after opening up with a 0-0 draw with Birmingham. They then lost 2-0 at home to QPR, bowing out in the midweek also to lower league Bristol Rovers in the EFL cup. New signing Emyr Hughes will make his full debut here while they have no new injury or suspension worries. Blackburn have been abject in their 1st two games with 2 separate 3 goal defeats. 4-1 at home to Norwich and 3-0 away at Wigan. They did however manage to overcome lower league Mansfield in the midweek cup tie. They are without a few here also with Adam Henley added to Elliot Bennett and Cory Evans in the treatment room.
Cardiff are much better in all areas over Blackburn. The Lancashire men have been poor so far and possibly look the worse outfit in the division even at this early stage. I take 2.00 or Evens with bet365 on Cardiff winning.
