CARDIFF - NOTTINGHAM FOREST PREDICTIONS

One of the games of the day at the top of the England Championship as Cardiff host Nottingham Forest. Automatic promotion and a playoff spot up for grabs in this exciting match up.

Cardiff continued with the patchy form at the top of the table. A draw away at home ot lowly Barnsley isn't the greatest of results but it moves them closer to the holy grail of  promotion out the England Championship. They still sit atop the England Championship though with a record of 24 wins, 8 draws and 9 defeats, the most wins and the least defeats. Cardiff are 9 points ahead of Watford in 3rd and only need 7 more points to secure promotion. Matthew Connelly is a major doubt and Frazier Campbell will likely miss out again. Both players are top players but have decent coverage so no big loss really.

Nottingham Forest move on to 10 games unbeaten (5 wins & 5 draws) They have slipped slightly of late with three consecutive draws which has allowed teams below them to catch up. Nottingham Forest sit in 5th on 16 wins, 15 draws and 10 losses. They are just three points ahead of Leicester outside the playoff places and there are a few sides just below them who can catch up. Winger Stephen McLaughlin is Billy Davies only concern.
