CHARLTON - BOLTON PREDICTIONS

Charlton play hosts to a Bolton side who have an outside chance of making the England Championship playoffs.

Charlton are treading water at the moment but must not get too complacent. Mired in midtable for most of the season they find themselves just 5 points above the drop zone. Even though they sit 15^th in the England Championship table with 12 wins, 11 draws and 15 defeats they are not safe just yet.  Charlton have only won once in the last five and have been shut out in three of those games.  Chris Powell’s men have found it difficult since Christmas and I imagine its the small squad size thats the main problem. Midfielder Florent Rouamba has arrived to bolster the numbers, the Burkina Faso man is not eligible for this game though.

Bolton came crashing down to earth after a fantastic run of form. Before losing away at Ipswich in the last match they went 8 games unbeaten with the last five games all won. The extended break will do them good and they will be looking to get back to winning ways in order to grab a playoff spot. Bolton are currently 8^th in the England Championship with 14 wins, 12 draws and 12 defeats. They are just 5 points behind Leicester with six games remaining. Rob Hall goes straight into the squad after joining from West Ham. Stuart Holden has joined Sheff Wed on loan as he looks to get some game time after a long layoff with injury.

Bolton are fancied to take the three points to get them back on track for the playoffs.
