CHARLTON – MIDDLESBROUGH: PREDICTIONS
Game two in England Championship and its two ex-Premiership old boys, Charlton host Middlesbrough at The Valley.
Charlton opened up with a defeat to newly promoted Bournemouth. Coach Chris Powell will be disappointed with the away day loss but they were a much stronger side at The Valley. Charlton followed up with a 4-0 midweek hammering of Oxford in Capital One Cup.
Middlesbrough continued their terrible run of form for 2013 with two more defeats. A pair of 2-1 home defeats confirms the worst fears of all The Riverside faithfull. I don’t expect coach Tony Mowbray to realistically last much longer. Im all for giving managers a chance but the form in the entire year is woeful. A defeat to Leicester in the league is fair enough but a midweek home loss to Accrington is dire.

Huge move on Charlton after the woeful opening for Middlesbrough. Odds of around 2.30 have long since gone and the odds are short at 2.05 now. The squad and 1st eleven of the visitors is so much better, they will come good.
