CRYSTAL PALACE - BARNSLEY PREDICTIONS

Top meets bottom as Crystal Palace take on Barnsley, Palace are looking good for the playoffs at least while Barnsley fight to stay in England Championship.

Crystal Palace made it three consecutive defeats and four games in total without a win. They lost the last three without scoring and conceded eight in total. They have already had a poor run of form around New Year so they have lost the chance for automatic promotion. The playoff place is still in doubt so they need to get back to winning ways. Crystal Palace sit in 4th in England Championship with 18 wins, 11 draws and 11 losses.  New signing Aruna Dindane finally recieved clearance to play by FIFA and will be straight into the misfiring forward line.

Barnsley are in great form and have escaped the bottom three. With three wins against some of the better sides in the league (Brighton, Leicester and Watford with just 1 goal conceded in them games) Barnsley sit in 20th position in England Championship with 13 wins, 8 draws and 18 defeats, they are only clear of the drop zone bottom three on goal difference. Barnsley have a few injury worries to key players: Martin Crainey is highly doubtful while already rules out are Jimmy McNulty, Rob Edwards and Rory Delap.
