TEAM NEWS AND RUN OF PLAY

Crystal Palace bounced back to winning ways with a comprehensive 3-0 against close rivals Brighton. With a man advantage for almost the entire match after a red card in the opening 10 minutes Palace really went at Brighton. It was a nice win with some great attacking endeavour; Palace now stand with the solitary loss in 17 games. After opening the league with three straight defeats its some impressive going from The Eagles.
Blackpool remain unbeaten in six matches now but they have drawn four of those. The early season impetus has deserted The Tangerines who now favour a more workmanlike approach. The wide attacking play under Holloway has long gone and Appleton's side seem more solid and organised. Last match out Blackpool travelled to Peterborough and toiled for over an hour in fruitless fashion. After scoring on the hour mark Posh capitulated and Blackpool were able to attack at will and managed to add a further three goals. Most teams take the three points from London Road as Peterborough are a woeful side at the moment. Blackpool at the moment are ultra reliant on Ince, they seem too ordinary at the moment and a mile off the team they were at the start of the season.
