TEAM NEWS AND RUN OF PLAY

Derby are a typical jekyll and hyde side, strong at home but weak away. They are capable of taking anyone on at Pride Park but generally capitulate away. Nigel Clough has a tought decision to make regarding star youngster Jeff Hendrick, The impressive young player of the year looks out on his feet and may be rested after starting every game this season. Clough is likely to revert to the home 4-4-2 formation. Why he goes 4-4-1-1 consistently away from home when it never works is beyond me. Jamie Ward is available but will be given another weeks recovery to avoid any further injuries.

Birmingham are one of the most frustrating sides in the league. They have ability and quality in all departments but the sum of all parts is unable to string any positive results together. Marlon King upfront is Premiership class finisher but he is often let down by the supply line. Birmingham have a massive loss injury wise with left back David Murphy has had surgery and will be out for a while, he is considered the best full back in the division and will be a big loss. Curtis Davies is back after injury and Rob Hall could make his debut after joining on loan.

This is a good price here, Derby are only three points ahead of their big rivals but for me are more of a team and with home advantage they should have too much for the inconsistent Midlands men.
