TEAM NEWS AND RUN OF PLAY

Derby are in and out at the moment and cannot maintain any consistency at all. Nigel Clough must be tearing his hair out. Games are won and lost home and away, Derby are very hard to pin down. Away from home they are a terrible team and really struggle to compete, they are very competitive at home however and can give any team a game. Jamie Ward returned from a lengthy spell on the sidelines at Charlton on Boxing Day but will sit out here to recover. Craig Bryson and Mark O'Brian should both be fit to start. No new injuy worries for Derby.

Middlesbrough's fine run of form carries on, they have five wins from the last six games as they power their way through games.At home on Boxing Day they were given a fright by Blackpool but in the end the sheer attacking quality of Boro was enough to over power The Tangerines. Middlesbrough have many options and have serious strength in depth too. Boro have a few extra players back from injury, further aiding their cause; Josh McEachran, Seb Hines and Faris Haroun are all looking for a place in an already packed squad.
