Birmingham manager Lee Clark is under intense pressure after a poor start to the season. A fixture with fellow strugglers Peterborough is welcomed but could be a major problem if they don't get a win. Darren Ferguson's side continue where they left of from last season with entertaining football but few points. He needs to start picking up points before he finds himself in trouble.

Birmingham themselves look like a side needing time to gel. Lee Clarke has spent the first few games of his tenure bedding new players in. Fielding vastly different teams in each of the three league games so far has caused them problems and only yielded 1 point. Sticking with a 4-4-2 formation they have laboured throughout each game and produced little attacking quality. They have a squad packed with talented players but just cannot seem to get going. A forward line of Zigic and King has top level experience. Peterborough have a squad picked from the lower leagues. Their game is based on pass and move but they seem to be struggling this year defensively. Making mistakes and struggling to impose themselves in matches. Have played 2 of the better sides in the league but lost to fellow strugglers Millwall at home which does bode well. Will make a game of it at St Andrews though and play a Birmingham side who are playing with little confidence too.  Star duo George Boyd and Paul Taylor, two of the best players in the team are currently being touted around a host of clubs.  A move to Ipswich for £2 million has been rumoured. Peterborough will hope to tie the deal up as they could get a few players in themselves.

Betting Prediction - Both sides fared badly in midweek cup competition with Birmingham losing again. This time to lower league and unfriendly neighbours Coventry. In a game which went all the way to extra time too. Peterborough lost 2-0 away to Reading. This game is difficult to call with both sides really struggling. No selection.
