England Championship betting predictions -Bristol C v Cardiff (25/08 13:00)

These two big rivals go head to head in what's locally known as the Severnside derby. It's a heated contest that is normally an evenly matched contest. After mixed results for both sides its going to be a thrilling contest.

Bristol City ditched the defensive 4-4-1-1 from the previous game and moved to a 4-4-2 with Ryan Taylor starting with Jon Stead up front. New forward signing Sam Baldock was paraded before the start of the game and may struggle to get in the side as his new team battered Crystal Palace 4-1, playing some exciting football.  Cardiff faced Brighton away and lined up with the same eleven that beat Huddersfield but changed formation and pushed Bellamy up top with Helguson moving to the 4-4-2. After just managing to scrape past Huddersfield with a 90th minute winner Cardiff again laboured throughout the game but did manage to create a few clear cut chances. Both keepers were in fantastic form and played their part in keeping tge game goalless.

Betting prediction - Bristol City sprang to life in the 2nd game infront of their home fans and put on quite a preformance. It will be a more difficult task against a very strong Cardiff backline. The attackers are floundering a little though with no offensive player scoring in 2 games for the Welsh man who do have the quality in place. Big derby match with plenty at stake. No selection.
