Huddersfield's poor run of form continues and it has resulted in the sacking of manager Simon Grayson. After a cracking start to the season Town have fell apart. In 19th position, and just 7 points above the dropzone the board decided to take action. With 8 wins, 9 draws and 11 losses overall Huddersfield are in a bit of bother. The hunt is on for a new man and his only priority will be consolidating the side. Jermaine Beckford and Neil Danns return to the side after being refused permisson to play in the cup. Joel Lynch , Keith Southern and Danny Ward are all out.  Recent results have been desperate with no wins in 14 league games, a ridiculous run of form.

Crystal Palace have suffered themselves form wise and have not been a patch on the side that hammered teams before Christmas. The Zaha problem has been solved with the England man signing for Man Utd but remaining at Palace for the season. Coach Holloway hopes the attacker will be able to concentrate on his game now. New signing Jazz Richards goes straight into the team, having joined from Swansea. Out is Paddy McCarthy, Owen Garvan and Joel Ward. While on international duty will be Kagisho Dikgacoi. For all their poor recent form Palace still sit in 5th on 48 points.  13 wins, 9 draws and 6 defeats leaves them just 2 points behind 2nd and automatic promotion.

Palace just lukewarm favourites here with a price around 2.30. Both sides are in poor form but Huddersfield are playing terribly at the moment. Palace are showing signs of their old form but have not clicked just yet. We play Palace here as Huddersfield are giving goals and points away with dire performances. Wilfried Zaha is tipped to regain his old form too as the pressure is off him now he's secured his move. Money coming for Palace too so its worth punting early.
