TEAM NEWS AND RUN OF PLAY

Hull suffered a rare blip as they went down at home 1-0 to Burnley. In a shock result they were matched all over the park and could not make inroads against a resolute Burnley defence. It was a shame as the had started to rack up the wins again. Taking their run to 6 wins in 9 they are one of the better sides in the division but seem to lack a certain spark.They really destroy teams and when winning tend to be by the odd goal. Steve Bruce names an unchanged squad from the weekend.
Crystal Palace's fine run ended at an unlikely venue. After 15 games without loss they succumbed to a under fire Leeds side. After a run that included 5 wins Crystal Palace will want to bounce back as soon as possible. Hull away is one of the hardest tasks in the league. Palace had a rare off day and too many players never turned up, something Holloway will look to rectify. Crystal Palace are without star striker Glenn Murray, suspended after 5 yellows. Holloway is expected to start with either Aaron Wilbraham or Jermaine Easter, two decent replacements. Defender Darcy Blake faces a late fitness test and skipper Paddy McCarthy and midfielder Jonathan Williams both sit this one out.

However Palace are one of the best sides in the league. Really talented players, balanced side and strong organised defence will be too much for the Hull side. Slight surprise to find prices as big as 3.40 as they should be nearer the 2.70 mark for me.

Crystal Palace is the selection here 1.73 +0.5 (BetVictor) Crystal Palace are a better side than Hull for sure but in such a game of importance we cannot be 100% sure for the win. Taking on Hull is the sensible option here as Palace have been superb over the last few months and with the added motivation of bouncing back from a first defeat Hull could be in trouble.
