IPSWICH - CRYSTAL PALACE PREDICTIONS 

The scramble for places hots up in England Championship, Ipswich look likely to avoid the drop while Crystal Palace are looking to secure their playoff place.

Ipswich's great run of form was ended at the weekend as they lost 2-1 at home to Hull. After a run of 6 games unbeaten Ipswich lost but they more than matched promotion chasing Hull. Ipswich have really tightended at the back and have only conceded 6 goals in 12 games. They currently sit 17th in England Championship and have 14 wins, 11 draws and 17 defeats. Ipswich are not truely safe yet as they are only 4 points above Barnsley but they have a poor goal difference so have to be really careful. Ipswich will have to do without David McGoldrick as his loan spell has ended.

Crystal Palace continue with their poor form which has dogged them since the start of the New Year. Crystal Palace have not won in five games and indeed they have not scroed in the last four. The level of opposition has been low with the exception of Brighton in the last five and is all the more damning for Ian Holloway's men. Crystal Palace are 4th in England Championship with 18 wins, 12 draws and 11 losses, they only have a three point gap to Leicester in 7th but do have a game in hand (versus Millwall) Striker Jason Banton has been recalled from Plymouth after a good run of 6 goals and a player of the month award.
