IPSWICH – MILLWALL: PREDICTIONS
Two of the smaller sides in the Championship go head to head at Portman Road.
Ipswich have had a very poor start to the season, losing both games. The opening Championship game was lost but the performance was ok against likely top 6 side Reading. In midweek a rotated eleven were expected to dispatch Stevenage easily enough in the league cup but were turned over 2-0.
Millwall were given an easy opening tie against the promoted Yeovil. However they could not impose themselves and managed to lose 1-0. In midweek they did get a win as they triumphed 2-1 over lower league Wimbledon. Again the performance was not great and there could be long term worries for Millwall.
IPSWICH – MILLWALL: BETTING TIPS
The type of game Ipswich will need to win if they want to anything this season. I think Millwall could struggle this season and see the Lions no better than 15 or 16th if at all. It’s a difficult game to call this one as neither side has offered much at all. I think Ipswich are a little short priced here even though Millwall have not started well, I take Millwall +0.5 at 1.80. A draw or Millwall is the better option here.
