LEEDS - BLACKPOOL PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW: BETTING STATS

Leeds are not in the best run of form of late, off field problems seem to be weighing on the mind of coach Neil Warnock who is not the most stable of managers. With a run of games in the FA Cup finally to an end (four of their last eight games where in the cup) Leeds can now concentrate on the league and their outside chance of making the playoffs. After only 1 win in the league in 5 games (despite cup wins over Birmingham & Spurs) Leeds are again out of form. Leeds sit 13th in the table but are only 9 points off the playoffs. Overall they have 12 wins,  6 draws and 13 losses. Paul Green returns to the squad after injury,  While Michael Brown and Ross McCormack were substituted very early in the 4-0 loss to Man City for precautionary measures.

Blackpool have their fourth manager of the season in Paul Ince. After losing Holloway, then Appleton and Steve Thompson filling in twice The Tangerines will be hoping for a bit of stability. They sit dangerously close to the drop zone now after a number of sides have turned the corner. Only 5 points seperate them and Wolverhampton. Blackpool have 10 wins, 10 draws and 12 losses so far and will hope new man Ince has an immediate effect. Paddy Kenny will return to the goalkeeper position after missing out last match.

LEEDS - BLACKPOOL: 1X2 BETTING PREVIEW

The odds on Leeds here seem crazy. 2.55 on the home side is a huge price. They are above Blackpool, have better form, a much better squad and home advantage. This is a real cracking bet. I would be looking nearer 2.10 the home side and maybe even shorter. Blackpool have nothing to suggest they should be as short as this and only the appointment of Ince as new coach could explain the price. He is hardly the Messiah though and has done very little in his coaching past to explain the short price of the visitors.
