LEICESTER - CHARLTON:  PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW: BETTING STATS AND FACTS

Leicester were boosted by coach Nigel Pearson getting the manager of the month award for January. They won 6 of their 7 matches and drew the other, in traditional style they lost the match after the award was handed out. Going down to bottom side Peterborough in a huge surprise. Leicester have dropped down to fifth but are only six points behind second and have two games in hand on all their rivals.  With a record that reads 16 wins, 5 draws and 9 losses they looking good for at least a playoff spot, but the automatic place is well within their reach. Leicester missed new star man Chris Wood, the NZ international sat out the last two games (both defeats) and was missed. He has been in fine form too,  scoring seven goals in six games.

Charlton have been in poor form recently, they opened up the New Year with three succesive victories but have followed that up with four losses and a draw. Charlton are struggling defensively and have not managed a clean sheet since November. They sit in 15th position with 10 wins, 10 draws and 12 losses. They are only six points off the drop zone but due to the compact nature at the bottom there are only seven points seperating 10 teams. No new injury worries for Charlton.

This looks a nailed on home win, Leicester have been distracted by the FA Cup with a few replays getting in the way of business. Now they are out they can concentrate on getting back into the Premier League. After dropping to fifth from second due to inactivity they will be keen to start picking up the points again. Charlton look set for midtable and should not offer much resistance here.
