LEICESTER v DERBY :1x2 BETTING TIPS AND PREDICTIONS

Leicester are the form side in The Championship and top the league just past the halfway stage. Overall form reads 16 wins, 3 draws and 5 defeats with 2^nd best attack and 5^th best defence. At home The Foxes have been superb and have the best league home record with 9 wins, 2 draws and 1 defeat. Recent league form is hot with 4 wins and 1 draw from last 5 league games with 11 scored and 5 conceded. Indeed the only defeats in 7 came in cup games against Prem sides Man City and Stoke.  Chris Wood is available and four who missed the Stoke defeat last week in Miquel, Drinkwater, James and Taylor-Fletcher all return. Derby are performing well and for me coach Steve McClaren doesn’t get as much credit as he deserves. The defeat in the rain to Croatia as England manager seems to forever tarnished one of Englands better managers. His Derby side are in 4^th with 13 wins, 5 draws and 6 defeats. Away form is best in division  with 8 wins, 2 draws and 2 defeats. Recent form sees them tied with Leicester at the top with an  identical 4 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss. Out for Derby are Richard Keogh and Johnny Russel. Patrick Bamford joins from Chelsea and is available while 12 goal Craig Bryson returns after being rested last week.

Im taking the away side here in what may seem a surprise selection. Over recent weeks I have watched Derby several times and have been very impressed. Steve Mclaren is such a shrewd operator I believe he can get this Derby side into the top flight. Leicester are a decent outfit sure but I see more from this Derby side. They are more suited to away games with the way McLaren sets them up and a win here is a decent shout at good odds. Plenty of nibbles on Derby already also.
