LEICESTER – LEEDS: PREDICTIONS                   

Huge game in the Championship, two sides who I expect to be challenging for the playoffs at the very least come the end of the season. Its Leicester v Leeds at The King Power Stadium.

Leicester are a very good allround side, not particularly spectacular but good enough.  Good defensively with the best keeper outside the Premiership. Two games so far, both away from home have yielded a pair of 2-1 victories.  Wycome in the cup were defeated with a second string side while a nice opening day league win over Middlesbrough was well deserved.  Zak Whitbread was stretchered off in that game and is rated doubtful for the game. Also unsure of fitness is Ben Marshall, both are 1^st eleven players and will be missed. Good news comes in the shape of key striker David Nugent, the injury prone frontman played 30 minutes in the last game and is a welcome returnee.

Leeds are a side who I think can do really well this season,  with a coach I really respect in Brian McDermott I think the Yorkshiremen have made solid signings and with huge support could go far. Opening up with a very good performance in seeing off promotion rivals Brighton they followed up with a cup win at home to Chesterfield. This will be a huge test no doubt but it will be a good marker if they can get something.  Leeds rested near enough the entire 1^st team  midweek  so will have fresh legs. El Hadji Diouf returns to fitness and Rudy Austin is back from suspension, two starting players and both match winners.

LEICESTER – LEEDS: BETTING TIPS

This game looks very close for me, two very good sides and it should be a great match. Im opposing Leicester here though, I really have a good feeling for Leeds and I think they could be a lively outsider in the league. They will be very strong at home for sure but I will look to be on their side a lot this season. I take Leeds +0.5 at 2.10 with bet365, we get paid on Leeds and The draw.
