Liverpool host Southampton in England Premiership. Liverpool dealt with the loss of Suarez by buying in bulk mainly from todays visitors. In come Lallana, Lovren and Lambert. From elsewhere comes Emre Can, Javier Manquillo, Albert Moreno and Lazar Markovic. Bar Suarez none of the other leavers will be missed – with Reina, Cody, Kelly, Aspas and Luis Alberto all have decent replacements. Southampton have lost almost the entire squad with the three heading to Liverpool. Plus the losses of Luke Shaw, Callum Chambers and Dani Osvaldo leaving. Out also has gone Fox, Forte, do Prado and Sharp as Koemen sweeps the decks. A few interesting players come in with Tadic, Taider, Pelle, Long and Gardos in with keeper Forster and wingback Bertrand.
I cant see how Daniel Sturrudge fails to score here. I see a good season for him injury permitting. He will have the lions share of chances as Liverpool pour forward as they did last year.
