Middlesbrough are very hot and cold at the moment – 7 games have seen 4 wins and 3 losses. They have been a bit iffy at home too with just 1 win from 3 so far. However the signs are all there, they are playing great passing and attacking football. Have a solid base and a great manager. They are possibly missing a finisher. That’s the one thing holding them back for me.  Damia Abella is sidelined for 6 months and will be a big loss, but loanee Ryan Fredericks is primed to fill in and Aitor Karanka believes he can be an adequate replacement. Brentford are only a point behind Boro after a decent start to life in the higher division. They have 3 wins, 2 draws and 2 losses. Away from is good too with 2 wins and 1 loss. They were hammered in midweek by a strong Norwich side and lost 3-0. No new injury worries for the visitors.

Should be a good game of football this between two sides who play a good passing game. Middlesbrough are in a false position for me though and if they can eliminate a few niggles they will be a force for sure. Brentford should be safe in the division and are around lower midtable at worst.
