MILLWALL - PETERBOROUGH :  PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW: BETTING STATS AND FACTS

Millwall have been in terrible form in the league, not winning since 1st Januray. However in the FA Cup they have progressed to the quarter final with a few nice wins. Four succesive defeats in the league though is a poor return. They have lost to three average sides too with the only expected loss falling to Hull.  With only 1 goal scored and 7 defeats its a poor run of form for The Lions. With 11 wins, 8 draws and 13 losses they are starting to drop down the table, indeed they are only 7 points above the drop zone. For a side that looked good for the playoffs they have fallen some.

Peterborough keep upsetting the form book with a few unexpected results. With three games unbeaten now they have drew with 2nd place Hull away and then beat 2nd best team in the division (Leicester) in a decisive 2-1 home win. Indeed since the New Year Peterborough have only lost once but they still sit bottom. With the league really tight now they are only 5 points from safety. With 9 wins, 3 draws and 19 losses they do have a chance of survival.

I am going with another surprise for the bottom side. Peterborough are capable of putting in decent performances. They are a nice footballing side packed with youthful endeavour. Millwall are in a rut at the moment and I do fancy them to have half a mind on the upcoming quarter final with Blackburn. Peterborough have beaten Cardiff and Leicester among others so far this season so an out of form Millwall should hold no fears. Some bookmakers have already cut the away side so this price may not last long!
