Nottingham Forest's Kuwaiti managers did the expected and sacked Sean O'Driscoll after his percieved poor start. He has a reputation for producing results driven football, and his appointment was not one to excite the fans. On the field Forest have improved over the last few weeks and finally seem to be coming together. The timing of the sacking seems all wrong to me. Sam Hutchinson and Jermaine Jenas will sit out with injury but defender Daniel Ayala is available after serving his suspension.
Crystal Palace have not won in four games now as they struggle to live up to their reputation. Teams seem to up their game against The Eagles and Palace have a fight each game. A run of draws was halted by an away loss at Cardiff, to be fair every other side bar Peterborough have lost their this season. Ian Holloway is struggling somewhat and his erratic management style seems to be muddling things, much like it did at Blackpool before he left. Palace need to get back to winning ways sooner rather than later. Key defenders Damien Delaney and Paddy McCarthy sit out again, Danny Gabbidon will fill one position.
