PETERBOROUGH - BIRMINGHAM PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW: BETTING STATS AND FACTS

Peterborough are planning their own "Great Escape" and are four games unbeaten now with the last two wins. They upset highflying Leicester 2-1 in a great performance then hammered Millwall 5-1 at The Den! A superb game in which they dominated for the majority of the game. They are 23rd with 10 wins, 3 draws and 18 defeats but they are only 4 points off safety with two games in hand. George Boyd has gone to Hull and although he will be missed Peterborough do have like for like replacements. 

Birimingham seem to have consolidated over the past few weeks and do look a more settled side. With only 1 defeat in 6 now they are on more solid ground then before Christmas. They are not entirely safe though as they only stand 4 points above the drop zone and in my eyes any side upto 14th is capable of going down. They have 9 wins, 12 draw and 12 losses and have played more games than most at the bottom. Injury worries trouble Lee Clarke too with key men Marlon King and Callum Reilly doubful. Lumbering striker Nikola Zigic continues to cause problems with his awful off field attitude and has already been lambasted by the coach. His awful sitter that could have sealed 3 points in midweek hardly helping his cause.

PETERBOROUGH - BIRMINGHAM: 1X2 BETTING PREVIEW

Peterborough have continued to play their nice, attacking football throughout this difficult season. They are in great form and look a great price to carry it on further. Birmingham have problems on and off the field and if King and Reilly do sit out this looks a great bet. Even with those two Posh have proved time and again they are capable of upsetting the best in the Championship and wins over Leicester and Cardiff and the midweek hammering of Millwall prove this.
