TEAM NEWS AND RUN OF PLAY

Peterborough are losing too many matches now and are back in the mire after a positive run in mid October. Losing by the odd goal while competing is simply not good enough. They have won a few friends playing their patient attacking football but points are the most important thing. The team is not as attack minded as recent years and the quality is down too. They travelled to Brighton and played a poor game.

Crystal Palace are in supreme form at the moment and are the best side in the division at the moment. Playing with freedom and style there are a joy to watch. The only problem I can see for The Eagles is the January transfer window. Wilfried Zaha is attracking all the Premiership big guns and Glen Murray is in superb form. Unbeaten in 12 games with 9 wins they are playing with great confidence. Not only are they winning well but they are playing quality football. New man in Ian Holloway takes the reigns and although I think he did a poor job at Blackpool he will be more suited to the more compact squad of Palace.

Crystal Palace 2.40 (StanJames) is the selection. This is one of the bets of the weekend for me.

I was expecting a price nearer 2.10 for Palace and to see 2.40 is superb. The form team of the league against the team with the most losses. A sure no brainer here, Palace are playing destructive attacking football and are taking apart better sides than Peterborough with ease.

They have shored up their defence no end and do look the real deal for this division. Peterborugh are playing no where near the level of the visitors, Posh also seem more suited to away games so home advantage is lost too. Get on this selection, a surefire winner.

Crystal Palace -0.75 is the pick here at 2.90 (Pinnacle) One thing Palace have improved on is the are starting to improve their winning margins. Often just doing enough and plently of single goal victories have made way for two consecutive wins of more than 1 goal and clean sheets to boot. Peterborough are less of a goal threat than recent times and should hold no problems for the sky high Palace.

Over 2.50 1.79 (Pinnacle) is a great bet here. Peterborough's reputation still goes before them but they are not as gung ho as over the last few years. Palace are playing with supreme confidence and even when they concede they press on and this is a great knack to have. The amount of games they rescue with late winners is a sign of a great team. Last 10 matches has seen 6 games go Over 2.5, with a total of 28 goals for an average of 2.8 goals per game. This looks a good Overs game for sure.
