Peterborough are in serious trouble, with no wins in seven matches and six losses in that time. After a mini revival that saw them pick up four wins in six games they are back in a major slump. Coach Ferguson has brought a few in, midfielder George Thorne and striker Dwight Gayle check in on loan. Peterborough have let striker Emile Sinclair go out on loan, this is the result of an internal disciplinary as upto four players were given significant fines and transfer listed for an unnamed offence. The side is bereft of quality and only Michael Bostwick is for me worthy of this league. That have are forced to play this fine central midfielder at centre back shows their huge problems. Peterborough look certain to drop down to League 1 and are almost guarenteed to finish plum last. In the last match Peterborough held a middling Blackpool side for an hour, but then capitulated to concede four goals in thirty minutes.

Middlesbrough have hit a tough patch of late and seem to be going through a few problems. With three losses in four games all the momentum they gained with their long winning run has evaporated. With the exception of Cardiff away the three games should have been won too. Last time out Middlebrough went toe to toe with Birmingham at St Andrews and were undone by Marlon King, The Birmingham striker was on fire and seemed determined to get one over his old side as took the fight to them and bagged the man of the match award as well as a brace of goals. Middlesbrough have no problem scoring but seem really edgy at the back. Tony Mowbray needs to stop the rot quickly and will be glad to be facing this blunt Peterborough side.
