QPR will go into this one as favourites and rightly so. They finished 7 points ahead of Wigan but have a better side man for man. Home form for QPR reads 15 wins, 6 draws and 2 defeats. Recent form shows 3 wins, 2 draw and 2 defeats. Back for QPR and already scoring is key striker Charlie Austin. Wigan had a more hectic season than most in Championship. A run to the semi finals of FA Cup (in which they took Arsenal to a penalty shootout) plus a lengthy run in the group stages of Europa League means they played 10 more games than all their rivals in the playoffs. Wigan finished in 5^th with 73 points and go into the playoffs with the worst form of any of the four teams. Away form for them shows 9 wins, 3 draws and 11 defeats. The recent run shows 2 wins, 1 draw and 4 defeats. 

Queens Park Rangers at home are a tough propostion for any team. A solid home record and a very strong all round side should have too much for Wigan here. I have a lot of time for Uwe Rosler but think they will have too much on their hands here against a driven QPR. Decent price on the home side too here.
