TEAM NEWS AND RUN OF PLAY

Sheffield Wednesday halted a terrible run of form. With a win over struggling Barnsley ending the run of seven consecutive defeats Dave Jones gets a bit of breathing space. Wednesday are really struggling and the win does little to paper over the cracks. Reda Johnson returns and will be a big boost for the Owls. Nejc Pecnik, Jermaine Johnson and Gary Madine hope to be fit after knocks. Jay Bothroyd and Jose Semedo will both be out however and both will be missed. There seems to be internal problems at the club with Jones revealing he was dealing with an "off-field problem" surrounding a mystery player, not a good sign.
Charlton ended their great run of form with a loss to Bolton. It was a game they just never got going in and ended a super run with four wins out of seven games unbeaten. The Addicks have a really strong squad now and with the addition of a few quality loan signings and the return from injury of some key personell look in a great position. Charlton have good quality in the starting eleven and have moved to provide depth from the bench. With Yann Kermorgant back and Rob Hulse firing Charlton have a potent forward line. Ricardo Fuller is out for this game and Dale Roberts is unavailable too.
