WATFORD - BLACKPOOL PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW: BETTING STATS AND FACTS

Watford are in superb form at the moment, unbeaten in seven matches with five victories in that time. They were on fire in the won games but were clear second best to Wolves & Crystal Palace in the drawn games, but to still not lose them shows how strong they are. Watford sit in 2nd just 5 points behind Cardiff, they have a 10 point lead over Nott'm Forest in 7th so should be guarenteed at least a playoff place. They have 20 wins, 6 draws and 10 losses. Keeper Manuel Almunia is missing again, Nathaniel Chalobah and Lloyd Doyley were rested in midweek and are available here.

Blackpool have tightened up considerably but are still awaiting there 1st win under new coach Paul Ince. They have yet to win in 5 games in a run that has seen only 1 goal scored in that time, they have only conceded 4 in that time mind so its been a change of philosophy for The Tangerines. Blackpool sit in 17th and are only 5 points above the drop zone, they have the best goal difference in the bottom half of the table though and thats worth an extra point. With 10 wins, 13 draws and 13 losses Blackpool are not out of the danger just yet. Striker Gary Taylor-Fletcher misses out but will be replaced by new signing Marko Futacs.

WATFORD - BLACKPOOL: 1X2 BETTING PREVIEW

The odds on Watford here seem crazy. 1.85 on the home side is a huge price. They are so far above Blackpool, both in points and in quality. They have better form, a much better squad and home advantage. This is a real cracking bet. I would be looking nearer 1.65 the home side and maybe even shorter. Blackpool have nothing to suggest they should be as short as this and only the appointment of Ince as new coach could explain the price. Blackpool are still priced on name alone and its made us enough money so far this season there is no reason to go against it here.
