WATFORD - CARDIFF PREDICTIONS

Third plays first as Watford take on Cardiff in the game of the day on Saturday evening in England Championship.

Watford are not in the greatest of form but still hold on to third place. With suprise defeats to Blackpool and Barnsley they have hit problems with trying to secure 2nd and automatic promotion. Facing up to 2nd placed Hull on Tuesday they did match the hosts and indeed took the win with a battling display, something they have been lacking at times. Watford have 21 wins, 7 draws and 12 losses.

Cardiff themselves are not in great form but like all the teams in the top four they are finding the pressure tough to deal with. Cardiff have only lost once in the last five games but performances have not been at the top level. Cardiff have 24 wins, 6 draws and 9 losses and sit 7 points clear at the top of England Championship. Key man Peter Whittingham returns to the side after being rested on Monday. Frazier Campbell is a doubt but with the best squad in the division he is easily replaced.
