Watford returned to winning ways with a straightforward home victory over Bolton. After a midweek upset at Bristol City snapped a three game winning streak. Watford sit in 4th position only 1 point behind Leicester in the 2nd automatic promotion place. Watford have 16 wins, 4 draws and 10 losses.  Watford have doubts over Joel Ekstrand, While Nyron Nosworthy was on international duty Thursday morning in Mexico and is highly unlikely to return in time to play. Ikechi Anya and  Neuton are both still in the injury list.

Crystal Palace finally ended their awful run of form with a late, late show at home to Charlton. After a run that saw just one win in 11 matches Palace where in debted to hitman Glen Murray who netted twice in the last 15 minutes. The striker took his tally to 24 in 26 games, a fantastic return. Ian Holloway will be hoping to build on the victory as he has overseen the last few months and has not been a success at all. Palace are still handily placed in 5th position only 1 point behind opponents Watford. With 14 wins, 9 draws and 7 losses they are still well placed thanks to their fantastic form before Christmas. Skipper Mile Jedinak is definately out after fracturing his jaw. Kagisho Dikgacoi returns from AFCON duty and has been missed in the middle. Striker Kevin Phillips is in line for a start after his recent transfer from Blackpool.

I'm looking at an away win at big prices here and think Palace will get back on track finally. All the signs have been there for them with much improved performances, they have just been missing the final result. Ian Holloway has invested in the side and the new players are all quality. With Wilfried Zaha settled now his transfer is tied up and Glen Murray back to his best Palace look great value. Watford are respected but Palace on their day are a better side.
