WIGAN v BARNSLEY 1x2  BETTING TIPS AND PREDICTIONS

Wigan continue with the wishy washy form that has plagued them all season. Coach Uwe Rosler will be desperate to string a run of results together.  They are in 9^th with 12 wins, 7 draws and 10 defeats, but are only 7 points off the playoff places with 2 games in hand. Home form sees them solid with 7 wins, 5 draws and 2 defeats, only the top two have lost less. Recent form shows 4 wins, 1 draw and 1 defeat with the side progressing to the quarter finals of FA Cup which so far they are defending well! Missing here for Wigan will be James McArthur, Gary Caldwell and Shaun Maloney. Although Martyn Waghorn and Rob Kiernan are back after missing the cup though ineligibility. Barnsley again occupy the relegation places. They managed a great escape last year but may not again this year. They are 2^nd bottom with 4 wins, 11 draws and 14 losses. Away for is poor with just 7 points gained from a possible 42 with 1 win the lowest in division. Form has improved though with 2 wins, 3 draws and 1 loss a better effort. Out for Barnsley are Brek Shea, Jacob Mellis and Bobby Hassell.

Wigan should take this without many complications. Although Barnsley have improved their form of lat they still remain a terrible side on the road. Away games are being lost with many goals conceded also. Wigan are looking better allround of late and have a few extra options now too. A decent win for Wigan here but goals for both sides I see.
