Wolverhampton moved onto three wins in four games with another decent win, this time a handy 2-1 away win at Blackpool. Wolves ended the long unbeaten run of new manager Michael Appleton and did it in a deserved style. Sylvain Ebanks-Blake was the architect with two goals. Wolves until recently had a real problem with holding onto leads but recently Solbakken has pushed his team to kick on once ahead and they have 9 points from the last 12 games. Wolves were indebted to keeper Carl Ikeme who made a string of fine saves to give the Midlands side all three points. Wolves have regained the confidence that was shorn over the last few months.

Peterborough had back to back wins for the 1st time since mid October to add another vital three points. After a fantastic and fully deserved away win in Cardiff to end their long winning start to the season Peterborough hosted a revitalised Bolton side and beat them in a thrilling encounter. A 5-4 win a bit touch and go at the end but Peterborough were the better side over the 90 minutes for sure. Peterborough played with great confidence and looked a different side to the one losing game after game over the last few months. With a few players returned from injury and two wins against two of the best sides in the league in the bag things are looking a bit rosier for Posh.
