ARSENAL v TOTTENHAM : 1x2 BETTING TIPS AND PREDICTIONS

Biggest game of the weekend so far and it’s a North London derby. Both sides will likely make changes here as this competition will be low on priorities for both sides. Arsenal sit  1st in the league but are struggling against the bigger sides. At The Emirates they have won 7 of their 10 games (2 draws and 1 defeat)  Arsenal have a few injuries here with Bendtner, Gibbs and Giroud joining Ozil, Chamberlain and Ramsey on the sidelines. Tottenham go into this game on a high after a 2-1 win at Old Trafford against Man Utd. New coach Tim Sherwood has given the side a boost and has amended the play slightly to give them a more attacking outlook. Spurs are in 6^th with 11 wins, 4 draws and 5 defeats. They are 2^nd in the form charts with 4 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss. Indeed since the new appointment they have won 3 and drew 1 game. Out for Tottenham are Verthonghen, Paulinho Sandro and Townsend. Strikers Adebayor and Defoe are both struggling and may not feature.

I think a shock could be on the cards here as Arsenal may field a very weak side. FA Cup will be very low in priority for Arsenal who are creditable league challengers for the 1^st time in a few years. With Champions League too this competition isn’t important. Injuries to several key men and also to some backup players mean we could see a few youngsters here. I take an upwardly mobile Spurs under new management to take this game. Sherwood will be more motivated for the win to keep his good run going and I think Spurs will be more interested in winning than Arsenal.
