Aston Villa will likely rest a few players for this one but they should have the ability to knock a team who are really a League 1 side in waiting. Villa have been finding their feet of late and I think although Lambert will field a “lesser” side they should be way too good for Blackpool. Villa sit in 12^th position in league.  They have only managed 12 league goals but have only conceded 22 (best outside the top 4) Fabian Delph is still suspended while Ashley Westwood, Nathan Baker and Libor Kozak will sit out. While Blackpool are rock bottom of the 2^nd tier league with just 2 wins all season from 24 games. They lost in 1^st round of League cup to League 2 Shrewsbury. Blackpool are a side of unwanted players and loanees thrown together with a meagre budget and on really low wages for this level. They have lost 15 of their 25 games so far this season and I cant see them doing anything against Villa. No new injury problems for Pool.

Villa seem absolutely massive at 4-9 (1.44) to win this game. Most of the top half of the Championship would be that price for a home tie against Blackpool so Villa should be a lot shorter. Even with a few youngsters in the Villa side this is a banging bet.
