CHELSEA V MANCHESTER UNITED PREDICTIONS

Easter Monday means more top class football action for us this week!  Just 2 days after league matches for both sides Chelsea host Manchester United in an FA Cup replay.

The first leg was a crazy match where Manchester United took a quick lead in the 5^th minute from Javier Hernandez and doubled it in the 11^th minute through Wayne Rooney.  It was looking like an easy win for United and the questions was just how many but Chelsea had different ideas.  After the break they made some changes brining on Hazard and Lampard and it changed the game for them.  A 59^th minute goal from Hazard was followed up by an equaliser by Ramires and here we with a replay.

As I mentioned both teams played on Saturday afternoon so we can expect changes from the sides who played then.  Chelsea suffered defeat at Southampton which is not ideal preparation but they had Hazard, Ramires, Cole, Luiz and Ba on the bench who will all be expected to start this game.  Juan Mata who missed Saturday’s game through illness is not expected to be fit on time.

United had Rooney, Evans, Welbeck, Nani, Evra and Cleverley all on the bench and we can expect to see them starting here.

CHELSEA – MANCHESTER UNITED BETTING TIPS

With the title all but wrapped up for United and Chelsea resting players at the weekend it seems this is a big goal for both sides.  We will see two very strong sides take the field despite the short time frame between matches.

I think Chelsea’s fight back in the last round will give them confidence that they can go one better and win here.  With their poor league position this is their best chance of a trophy along with the Europa league.
