HULL v BRIGHTON : TOTAL GOALS TIPS AND PREDICTIONS

Hull are in 11^th in Premier League and coach Steve Bruce has already shown a little disrespect for the tournament as he as played a ‘weakened team’ on several occasions. Hull have had a really easy run so far though so have won through without much fuss. They have a fairly strong squad so games against lesser sides with their 2^nd eleven have been a doddle. They are in the last 9 now so may as well go for it. This years competition has seen a lot of big sides already fall so the chance of silverware is there. Yannick Sagbo and Sone Aluko will return to the side as 1^st choice front pair Jelavic and Long are cuptied. Paul McShane is out long term. Brighton have played well so far this season. Sitting just outside the playoffs in 8^h they have a similar record to last season. Strong defensively but unable to score many. Their goals for record is amongst the lowest in the division. Both sides only played on Saturday though and 1 days rest is ridiculous. How they are expected to play at a high level with little recovery is anyones guess.  

Low goals are taken again here in a game between two stingy sides. Neither tend to score or concede many. The 4-0 win over Cardiff for Hull at the weekend was a freak result and apart from that the averages are low. Last 9 games has seen 18 goals for a low average of 2.00 per game.
