MANCHESTER CITY - WIGAN PREDICTIONS

Manchester City face up to Wigan in the season’s FA Cup showpiece at Wembley. City will have to make do with 2^nd in the league and hope their Qatari owners accept this silverware as enough. Wigan are likely to part the Premiership and will seek solace in a first cup victory.

Manchester City are in a good vein of form but against the machine that has been this year’s Man Utd side they have been clear 2^nd best. Manchester City have only lost 3 matches of the last 16 (10 wins, 3 draws) With 28 scored and only 10 conceded (also 9 clean sheets in that run) Manchester City sit 2^nd in the league with 22 wins, 9 draws and 5 defeats. Manchester City can pretty much pick 2 world class starting elevens such is the depth to their squad. Roberto Mancini has confirmed Joe Hart will stand down here and allow backup keeper Costel Pantilimon a start. Scott Sinclair is highly doubtful but unlikely to make an impact anyway.
