Newcastle under Alan Pardew are a side you cannot trust in early round cup games. After such a good start to the season I can see him making mass changes for this game. Newcastle have looked a little jaded over the Christmas period with two back to back 1-0 defeats. Cardiff have moved quickly to sign Man Utd legend Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. The Norwegian is one for the future for sure. Wether he can do more with this squad is another thing.
Newcastle are not to be trusted in cup competitions as coach Pardew has disrespected them regularly in the past. Cardiff will be boosted by the incoming manager and I take them with a start. Expect some heavy rotation from The Magpies and I think they will come unstuck.
